Executive chef Tommy Halvorson from the Phoenix Supper Club (www.thephoenixsupperclub.com) whips up a mouth watering menu with an attractive price tag and music journalist Crystal S. Yang (Examiner.com) books the talent to set the vibe for a Monday night like nowhere else.

The seating is first come first serve, and the first 50 guests receive a complimentary chef’s choice appetizer. The front room is set up half with tables and half standing, and there is a back room set up with chef’s tables. Both rooms are open to all guests to view the art that is rotated each month. 111 Minna Gallery is pleased to announce the third ‘Sketch Tuesdays’ of 2010 and the 42nd time we’ve held the event! Each month the gallery hosts an evening of live art making featuring both established and emerging Bay Area artists. Inspired by Southern Exposure’s Monster Drawing Rally, 111 Minna offers patrons the opportunity to see local artists at work and get acquainted with them. It is also a way for artists to meet each other and to be inspired by each other’s creative process.

Sketch Tuesdays offers the local arts community a place to congregate, to talk, to create and to be seen. There is usually room for artists to just drop in and start drawing, but the good seats are reserved for the invited artists.

Art is for sale at reasonable prices and will be displayed until the event closes.
This is a great opportunity to become a collector and to meet some very talented people!!

By nights end, it will be time to get dirty with the Bay Area’s own DJ Nisus, who will be throwing down his unique sound of dirty French disco beats with bass thumping rhythms. Known throughout the bay area and beyond for his electro beats, Blasthaus’ resident DJ’s sounds will cure the music and help us save lives….
