After going to a variety of anonymous programs and fancy conferences where women were in short supply and where all one does is hand out business cards, we all wanted to do something different. So 10 professional women came together to create WiGS — Women in Greentech & Sustainability. Our goal is to celebrate and support the whole range of Bay Area women who are helping to make “green” businesses viable — whether in cleantech, greentech or sustainability.

WiGS is a network made up of women representing a variety of professional backgrounds — from legal and government affairs to financing, consulting and communications, among others.
