Artcycle is an alleycat going down this Sunday in SF.  It’s an event being thrown in effort to raise money for Gallery Heist, a new gallery in the Tenderloin due to open November 14th.

Here’s the rundown for the race this sunday:

* Meet at the Embarcadero/Ferry Building at 11am on Sunday. The race will begin at noon.

* After registration, all racers will receive a cool spoke card with their race number along with a manifest. Cyclists must get each check point signed off in order to complete the race.

* At each checkpoint cyclists will be provided with art supplies and will need to sketch something from vantage point & write their racing number on the back of the artwork.  They will then need to get their manifest signed and then continue to the next checkpoint.

* At the end of the race, all artwork will be brought to 111 Minna and put on display on the Sketch Tuesday wall.  A book will be made with all the artwork and sold at the gallery.

* After party is at 111 Minna, prizes will be given out, the Translators will be performing.
