A Fashion Fundraiser and Holiday Shopping Event benefiting Soles4Souls

Annette Richmond, owner of Avant Garde Public Relations and President of F.A.B. is asking Bay Area shoppers to “step up and support Soles4Souls this holiday shopping season.” Transforming Black Friday into F.A.B. Friday, Accessories in Action will be held Friday November 27th 2009 from 12pm-6pm at 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco, Ca.

Fashion & Associated Businesses is the Bay Area’s premier social networking group for designers, models, stylists, publicists, photographers and more. Accessories in Action will spotlight the businesses of F.A.B. members including; Pinups for Purpose Calendars which support Bay Area Breast Cancer charities, Love, Melody handbags, Accessories by Audrey B., Serina Coscina’s feather and leather accessories and more.

The goal of Accessories in Action is to support local designers while donating to a deserving cause. It is estimated that Americans have 1.5 billion pairs of unused shoes lying in their closets. Soles4Souls is a non-profit that recycles ‘gently worn’ shoes for people in need. “Who says fashion can’t help save the world?” says Richmond. Every nine seconds Soles4Souls donates a pair of shoes to men, women and children in over 125 countries.
