Celebrating 30 years of creative exploration 1978-2008. All proceeds benefit the Scholarship Program.
The 4th Annual Benefit Art Auction will kick off the Art Center’s 30th Anniversary Celebration – 2008 marks thirty years of bringing art to the children of San Francisco and the Bay Area. The Auction will showcase work from Bay Area artists in a variety of media that includes painting, fine art prints, photography, and more. Featuring DJ Ben Flowz spinning lounge tunes, admission includes two complimentary drinks and unlimited hors d’oeuvres compliments of local establishments such as Trader Joe’s, Thirsty Bear Brewing Company, Tully’s Coffee, Bi-Rite Market, Charlie’s Café, Café Madeleine, and more!
Founded in 1978, the San Francisco Children’s Art Center is a private, non-profit community arts organization that seeks to empower children and foster their sense of self through exploration of the artistic process. Classes are offered year round for ages 27 months to 12 years.
